A bunch of daffodils

One bunch of daffodils can provide inspiration for many sketches!

First, the whole bunch...

Then single flowers...

Watercolour 5.5" x 7.5"

Single Daff from life #2 - ©Ruth S Harris 2013
Watercolour 5.5" x 7.5"

Single Daff from life #3 - ©Ruth S Harris 2013

It's great practice at painting from life, with different angles presenting different challenges.

Thanks CheyAnne (connection now made) I just had a peep at your blog and love your photos of the yellow roses..... they're my favourite type of roses, and the lighting of them is stunning!

You certainly have a way with daffodils Ruth. Well actually flowers in general... :-)

I'm with you on yellow being a favorite rose. My most fav is tinged in pink along the edge. those are harder to find I think. thanks for the compliments on the light. I even pulled my tripod out to get them crisp and clear.
I hope you go but some more daffodils soon before they are gone so we can all enjoy more of them from you
peace n abundance,
CheyAnne
