Tulip Rainbow #2

I wasn't thrilled with my first tulip painting (Primary Tulips) so I immediately started again with a different reference image! I'm very happy with the way this one turned out, there was no masking involved, colours were allowed to move and blend, but overall the effect isn't busy.

This is gorgeous--so light filled. The colors are just great, and I love how you've handled the leaves and the vase ... All of your paintings have such strong wonderful color!!

Thank you Laura! I love colour, a friend says I use "sweet shop colours" and when I thought about it, I realised she was right!
