The Last Dance

I completed a new floral yesterday, this time of something which has fascinated me for years...... the way flowers change as they die, yet still have a unique beauty.

The Last Dance
Watercolour, 14" x 11"
AVAILABLE

I painted a single tulip with one drooping petal some years ago.  I think it's a subject I need to explore further.

Tired Tulip
Watercolour, 10" x 14"

Dear Ruth,
Very beautiful. The title is wonderful and thoughtful! As if one tulip opened her arms widly and invited a partner. All has a drama, nothing different from us...wow, I love this work.
And Happy Easter!
Best wishes, Sadami

Very beautiful paintings giving us a non-traditional perspective of the flowers. I love it!
Happy Easter!

so interesting --I had taken a dozen pictures at least of my tulips in this state a few days ago (march 25th actually) and has been planning a piece too!. Great minds think alike? :) Your piece is beautiful -- I will have a figure a way to make mine special in its own way! Thanks for the inspiration and push!
