While the mornings are still very chilly it's good to see the first green shoots appearing from bare soil. The daffodils aren't quite flowering in my garden so I bought some from the supermarket for the bargain price of £2, and they inspired me to paint this!

Great work Ruth. I have the same idea and painted daffodils that I purchased yesterday :o)
Dear Ruth,
Very lovely work. Particularly, light is impressive.
Kind regards, Sadami
Beautiful daffs!
Love the fact you haven't filled the whole page - it gives such a feeling of light! xx
Ah inspirational.
Ruth, I love the looseness, the light you captured and the freshness of these daffodils. I can almost smell spring. Gorgeous! Diana
Beautifully loose and full of light.
Ruth this is really beautiful. I love the free flowing forms. A true inspiration.
Beautiful, just love the glow of these daffodils. Your work is amazing and so happy to have found you on Krista's blog.
Thank you for sharing.
Le printemps éclate dans toute sa splendeur ! Quelle lumière !
Congratulations on a wonderful job to have a spectacular form of watercolor painting, very good work, greetings.
Just beautiful ...such clean yellows..
I have cushions with this painting printed on them. I bought them many years ago and they are still my favourites, absolutely stunning painting! I recently redecorated and bought my sofas to show them off. Just wanted to let you know I love your work, just found this blog, it's inspiring, going to get my paints back out after too long away. Thank you!
